Call for Programs

The WVASPA-WVTRIO Conference Committee invites you to join us November 5-6, 2019 in Davis, West Virginia at the beautiful Canaan Valley Hotel and Resort for an exciting and valuable conference experience.  WVASPA and  WVTRIO are partnering once again to bring the student services personnel in the state a unique and rewarding conference schedule.  

Length:  All educational sessions are 60 minutes in length. 

Program Content:  To build a robust and diverse program, programs that encompass Professional Competency Areas for Student Affairs Educators (as adopted by NASPA and ACPA) are highly encouraged!

Programs Evaluation: Programs will be selected based on how they exemplify best practices for the profession.
  • Applicability to WV campuses/institutions 
  • Depth and breadth of learning outcomes
  • Demonstration of how the proposed program will meet those outcomes
  • Uniqueness of program proposal 
  • Professional Competency Areas for Student Affairs Educators

Deadline: September 17, 2019
