The WVASPA Conference Committee invites you to join us November 11- 12, at The Resort at Glade Springs in Daniels, WV, for an exciting and valuable conference experience. Again, we will be partnering with West Virginia TRIO to bring the student services personnel in the state a unique and rewarding conference schedule.

Theme: Resilient Campuses. Thriving Students.
Length: All proposals will be considered educational sessions and will last approximately 60 minutes in length.
With this year's theme, proposals are invited that explore how West Virginia institutions can leverage technology to expand access, strengthen student mental health and wellbeing, address food and basic needs insecurity, and align education with workforce opportunities to improve retention, completion, and long-term student success across rural communities.
Program Content: To build a robust and diverse program, proposals from all functional areas of student affairs and/or student success are welcomed and encouraged.
Program Evaluation: Programs will be selected based on how they exemplify best practices for the profession.
Deadline: October 15, 2026
Proposals will only be accepted via the electronic form below. Presenters will be notified of the acceptance of their proposal no later than October 30, 2026. If you have questions, please contact a member of our planning committee.

- Depth and breadth of learning outcomes
- Demonstration of how the proposed program will meet those outcomes
- Uniqueness of program proposal
