As we wrap up our 2025 symposium, we are filled with gratitude for the ideas shared, the connections that were made, and the collective energy that continues to move us forward. This year reminded us of the importance of flexibility and adaptability - of being willing to shift gears, embrace change, and grow together in new directions. Guided by our theme, “It Takes a Village,” we were reminded that true progress in higher education is built through collaboration and shared purpose. Together, we are strengthening the village that supports student success across our state. With fresh insights and renewed focus, we are ready to carry this momentum into the year ahead to continue to innovate, collaborate, and lead with purpose. WVASPA is the West Virginia State Student Affairs and Student Services Professional Organization. The organization services both public and private colleges and universities.

WVASPA Goals:
- To provide a forum for sharing student development programs and ideas among all institutions of higher education within the state.
- To stimulate research and programs in student development in West Virginia.
- To maximize higher education resources in West Virginia.
- To encourage among West Virginia student affairs professionals a sense of professional identity, and to assist student affairs professionals in communicating this identity to other members of the college or university community, as well as to the larger community.
